Why Item-Specific Discounts Are Useful
Applying discounts on individual items gives flexibility in pricing, allowing you to offer promotional pricing or handle unique customer requests without adjusting the entire order. It can help improve customer satisfaction and drive sales for specific products.
Tips
- Double-Check the Discount: Verify that the correct discount percentage is applied to avoid errors.
- Adjust Quantities Carefully: Ensure that the quantity reflects the customer’s request, especially when applying discounts to multiple units.
- Review Final Price: After applying the discount, review the updated total to confirm the correct discount has been applied.
This straightforward approach to applying item-specific discounts helps you tailor pricing for individual customer needs while ensuring accuracy in the order total.
