Getting Started with Posterita POS

Setting up the Posterita POS app on your device is a straightforward process. Once the app is downloaded and installed, follow these steps to sign in and get started with your POS setup.

Quick Steps for Installing and Setting Up Posterita POS

1. Download the App

  1. Open your device's browser and go to Posterita's download link to download the app.
  2. Ensure you have a stable internet connection for a smooth download.

2. Install the App

  1. Locate the downloaded file on your device (typically in the "Downloads" folder).

  1. Tap the file to begin installation.

  1. Allow installations from unknown sources if prompted.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

3. Open the App

  1. Open the Posterita POS app from your app drawer or home screen.

4. Sign In to Your Account

  1. On the login screen, enter your registered email and password to sign in.

  1. Tap "Sign In" to access your account.

5. Select Store and Terminal

  1. Once signed in, choose the store and terminal you wish to use.

  1. This ensures that your transactions are recorded under the correct store and terminal settings.

6. Select Username and Enter PIN

  1. Choose your username from the list of users.

  1. Enter your PIN to complete the setup and access the POS interface.

7. Opening the Till

  1. To start a new day, enter the float or change amount in the till as the opening amount.

  1. This is the initial cash balance available for transactions throughout the day.



Note: Streamlined Future Logins

After completing the initial setup, the app will save your store, terminal, and login details. For future logins, you’ll only need to enter your username and PIN, making it faster to access the POS.
